In theory this is agreat idea, but it does have a hitch. If you are able to donate a bike to to this guy there is no guarantee he will be the one to receive it. Because he is on the national team the bike will be taken from him and given(or parted out) to the best rider(s) on the National team.

Talk to Mike Fraysse...he runs or used to run the Pan American Solidarity Program to bring donated equipment, clothing, etc to the Cuban cycling teams. Most of the equipment they had down there was probably from him. He's always happy to help and can aid you in navigating all the restrictions it will take to get this done.

Wow, I don't even know what to say in response to Anonymous. True, there are many talented young riders out there and if they work & train hard they too will get their chance to ride with a pro team. That being said, Joao- you amaze me, you inspire me and you make me laugh. Keep riding & improving and I’ll keep reading. I'm not family or a friend, just an interested fan.
